Textile Waste Recycling
The HSN1060 is a textile waste opening machine for preparing suitable rags, fabric offcuts and yarn waste for fiber recovery. It can be considered as part of an HSN recycling line, with the process arrangement selected for the incoming material and intended fiber reuse.
Potential feed materials include textile production offcuts, yarn waste and suitable wool-containing waste. Fabric construction, fiber blend, coatings, contamination and incoming piece size must be assessed before the configuration is selected.
Recovered fiber may be evaluated for mattress, bedding, quilt, pillow or sofa filling applications. Use in rotor spinning requires separate testing of fiber length, cleanliness and yarn quality; spinning suitability is not guaranteed for every waste stream.
