A feeding box is selected as part of the fiber-handling arrangement for a nonwoven line. Start equipment selection with the material to be processed, the required feed rate and the machine receiving the material. HSN can review your project requirements before proposing a configuration.
| Selection Item | Details to Send HSN |
|---|---|
| Fiber material | Fiber type, composition, blend, length and condition. Include any recycled content and representative material photos or samples. |
| Feeding requirement | Required kg/h, operating hours and whether the process needs continuous feeding, batch feeding or weighing. |
| Receiving machine | Downstream equipment type, model, working width and inlet height. Send a layout or connection drawing where available. |
| Incoming material | How the material reaches the feeding box, its condition after opening and the proposed upstream equipment connection. |
| Product target | Intended nonwoven product, target width and basis weight, and any feed-consistency requirements. |
| Controls and site | Electrical supply, line-control interfaces, available floor space, access and destination country. |
Feeding boxes, blending equipment, weighing feeders and web-feeding systems are not interchangeable descriptions of a single configuration. Confirm whether your project requires storage, metering, weighing, blending or transfer, and which functions are included in the proposed machine.
Working width, throughput, drive power, machine dimensions and control options must be confirmed for the selected configuration. Material trials or a technical review may be needed to assess suitability for your fiber blend and line conditions.
Send HSN your fiber information, target feed rate and upstream/downstream machine details to request equipment selection and a project quotation.
